Getting started

Signing in

Setting up your account the first time, logging in, and your profile and language.

The first time: set up your account

Students, lecturers and heads of program don’t receive a password. They create their own login once, on the Setup Account page (the Get Your Email link on the login page also leads there).

  1. Verify identity — enter your email and your ID: the student ID (NIM) for students, the employee ID for staff. The page shows your name, ID and role so you can check it’s really you.
  2. Set credentials — choose a username (the page tells you right away if it is taken) and a password of at least 8 characters, then confirm it.
  3. Account ready — go back to the login page and sign in with your new username and password.

Who gets an account this way

Your record must already exist in Edunara: a student once admission has given them a student ID, a lecturer or head of program once the admin has added them. Admin staff, admissions officers and partners are given their login by the admin.

Logging in

  1. Open the login page and enter your username and password.
  2. Tick Remember me to stay signed in on your own device.
  3. Press Log in.

What you see next depends on your role:

  • Staff (admin, heads, lecturers, admissions, partners) land on their dashboard with the sidebar for their role.
  • Students choose a portal: Learning Management, My University or Thesis Portal. You can switch portals at any time.

If the login fails, the page tells you why — a wrong username or password, no internet connection, or the server being unavailable.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the login page, press Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your username or email and press Send reset link.
  3. Open the email and press Reset password. The link is valid for 15 minutes and works once.
  4. Choose a new password (at least 8 characters). Saving it signs your account out on every device; sign in again with the new password.

For privacy the page always says a link was sent, even when no account matches. No email after a few minutes? Check the spam folder — or ask the campus admin.

Admins can reset a password from People › Users: press Reset password on the user’s row. Edunara emails a link valid for 24 hours when the account has an email address, and always shows the link so you can copy it and pass it on (for example when the account has no email). The current password keeps working until the link is used.

Setup Account is only for accounts that haven’t been set up yet.

Maintenance

When the campus puts Edunara into maintenance, only admin accounts can log in. Everyone else sees a maintenance page until it ends; admins can announce maintenance ahead of time so users see a warning bar first.

Language

Press the globe button in the top bar and pick English or Bahasa Indonesia. The whole application switches at once and remembers your choice on that device. You can also set your preferred language in your profile.

Your profile

Open Profile from the user menu. It has three tabs:

  • Personal — gender, religion, date and place of birth, and a short bio. Your full name follows your academic record: to change it, contact the academic office.
  • Contact — phone number and address.
  • Preferences — language and timezone.

You can also choose an avatar for your account. Students’ formal photo for their ID card is set by the admin, not here. Students can update their current address (domisili) and who they live with any time with Update current address; the home address (as on the KTP) is kept by the campus.

Signing out

Use Log out in the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar. On a shared computer, always sign out and don’t tick Remember me.
