Term dates, exam periods, make-up periods and the days without classes.

WhereSetup›Academic Calendar
The calendar tells Edunara when teaching happens. Sessions, exams and make-up classes are only scheduled on dates the calendar allows.
The page has three tabs: Term Setup, All Periods and Calendar.
Terms
Each academic year has an Odd and an Even semester, plus an optional Compact (short) semester between them.
Term Setup — per term, in order
Pick the year and semester, then work through the checklist on the page:
- Semester period — the first and last day of teaching. The page shows the number of weeks and the PDDikti term code.
- Set it once for the whole campus, or differently per degree level (for example S2 starting a month later than S1) or per study program. A study program uses its own dates if set, otherwise its degree level’s, otherwise the campus dates.
- Exam periods — the date ranges for the mid and final exams (a Compact term has only one exam). Exam auto-scheduling only picks dates inside these ranges. You can also set a study period — no-class days just before the exams.
- Make-up period — the windows in which cancelled classes can be made up.
- Non-teaching dates — see below.
Holidays and days without classes
Add Entries adds dates that block class and exam scheduling:
| Kind | Use for |
|---|---|
| Holiday | National holidays and campus holidays |
| No Class | Academic days off, such as an exam preparation day |
| Orientation | New-student orientation |
Several entries can be added at once. Holidays are campus-wide and set for the whole year.
Checking the result
- All Periods shows every term, exam and make-up period and the non-teaching dates side by side, per scope, so you can spot gaps or overlaps.
- Calendar shows the month, year or week view with a legend. Print / Save calendar image produces the calendar to share with students.
