9. Admission periods and the enrollment window
When applicants can register, and when students enroll and pay for a semester.
The last two things to open before the semester starts: admission for new students and enrollment for everyone.
Admission periods
Setup › Admission Periods controls when applications are taken.
- New period — gives the entry year that admitted applicants will get, and a status: Draft (being set up), Open (takes applications) or Closed.
- Add wave (gelombang) — each period has one or more waves, each with:
- its online registration dates;
- how long booth and agent (partner) registrations may stay open — they can run longer than online;
- the form fee per channel (or free), and fee rules;
- an optional quota.
- Set the period to Open. Pause intake stops all registration temporarily.
No period yet?
While no period is open, registration is open with no dates. Create a period and its first wave to control when applications are taken.
The enrollment window
Semester › Enrollments › New Enrollment Window — one window per term (year + Odd, Even or Compact):
- Enrollment opens / closes — when students can enroll (take their package or fill in their KRS).
- Payment deadline — the default date bills must be paid by (can be changed per student).
- Grace days and late fee — how long after the deadline a student can still pay, and the fee added when they pay late.
- Status — Draft, Open or Closed.
Study programs can also have their own KRS schedule inside the window, so not every program enrolls on the same days.
Done — ready for the first semester
With these nine steps finished, the campus is ready. What happens next — applicants registering, students enrolling and paying, classes being generated — is described in the student journey.
