4.1. Finance follow-up
Bills, invoices, scholarships and corrections, reconciliation and closing a finance period.
Every payment in Edunara — form fees, DPP, semester bills and other charges — lands in one finance ledger. The Finance menus work on that ledger.
Finance Dashboard
Collections at a glance: revenue trend, bill status overview, payments waiting for verification and where payments come from.
Finance Bills
Create and follow other charges that aren’t part of enrollment — for example the thesis defense fee, graduation, textbooks or anything else — and verify their payments.
Invoice Center
Invoice numbers, downloadable invoice documents (PDF) and resending an invoice to a student by email.
Scholarships & Corrections
Money that has been charged is never edited directly. Instead, finance submits a correction — scholarship, discount, waiver, adjustment or refund — which goes through an approval queue. The original transaction stays as it was; the correction is recorded next to it.
Payment Reconciliation
Import the settlement file (CSV) from the bank or payment provider. Each row is matched against Edunara’s payments: matched, unmatched, duplicate or already handled. Matched rows still need a manual confirmation before anything changes — importing never marks a payment paid by itself, and importing the same file twice does nothing.
Period Closing
At month end, close the period so its transactions can’t change any more — no proof uploads, verifications, rejections or corrections on transactions created that month. To reopen a month, one admin files a reopen request with a reason and a different admin approves it.
Audit Log
Every money-related action — bills, proofs, verifications, corrections, period closing and reopening, exports — is recorded with who did it and when. Search it by action, person, student or date.
Reports
Reports › Outstanding Balances and Finance Reports give the unpaid balances per student and the ledger reports with CSV export.
